Rick Kennedy (Kurt Kohler), a sheltered but privileged East Coaster, wrestles with the multi-cultural and sexually open atmosphere of his new university. Tonisha Watkins (N.D. Brown), an inner-city prodigy, struggles with her Pre-Med courses while trying to pay her family's bills. Judy Oz (Margaret Scarborough), a carefree party girl, hits the college social scene until it hits back and sends her spiraling out of control. Capturing the poignant moments of their first quarter in college, freshmen reveals the sometimes painful, often times humorous and touching moments in life.
